Michael Pitts – President
Michael has practiced general law for almost 20 years in addition to spending more than 20 years as a commissioner with the Michigan Supreme Court and he is excited to be on the Ramblewood Board of Directors. He brings many years of experience with committees, associations and task forces to his role here.

Michael received his B.A. (cum laude) from Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina and his J.D. from University of Notre Dame Law School. He is a member of both the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Michigan and has served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Michigan and as an adjunct professor of law at Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

Tony Cortese – Vice President
Tony was born and raised in Detroit. He is a graduate of West Point and a Vietnam veteran. He left the Army after 8 years as a Captain. Tony then owned and operated a small business for 25 years in Wichita, KS. Finally, he was a Fleet & Logistics Manager for a mechanical contractor for 15 years.

Tony retired and moved back to Michigan where he and his wife have been residents of Ramblewood since 2014.
Tony was elected to the Ramblewood Board of Directors in 2021. He wants to bring a sense of community and unity to the Ramblewood residents. He brings his organizational and budgeting skills to the board.

David Shindel – Treasurer
David co-founded and is now a senior partner in ShindelRock, CPA’s. He is a CPA, a C.V.A. (Certified Valuation Analyst), and an M.A.F.F. (Master Accredited in Financial Forensics). A lot of his work is in litigations arising from civil damages and disputes along with tax reconstructions for civil and criminal tax investigations. And also maintains a traditional tax and financial practice. From his professional experience he has testified in depositions and courtrooms approximately 200 times. He has also published a number of professional articles. He served as Treasurer on the HOA for Colony Park West for 7 years. Ramblewood. For Nash Acres, he worked with one other homeowner to bring in water (we had wells) and repave the roads. He also serve on the Executive Committee and Loan Approval Board for the U.S. Government Small Business Administration 504 loan program. He has been on this Board for 30 years. During this time, he has reviewed and approved (most of the time) 400 or more business loans. He also taught underwriters at three different banks how to understand financials and tax returns for lending purposes.

Glenn Visbeck – Secretary
Glenn has a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s in Human Resources Administration. He has spent 40 years working in the auto industry in Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering, always looking for ways to improve processes, make things more efficient and resolve problems.
Glenn moved to Ramblewood in 2019 and is looking forward to serving all residents of community.
Joey Lebovic – Board Member
Joey has been a resident of Ramblewood since 1999 and is a retired Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan. His work experience includes highway and large commercial construction plus assignments developing and managing extensive computer systems. He earned a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a masters in Business Administration.
Joey’s work experience and education will aid the Board in prioritizing Ramblewood’s Reserve Study recommendations and evaluating any road or infrastructure construction/maintenance contracts.
